Jóvenes y Sexys - Bruno Remixed

Hey everybody, we're coming very close to the end of our netlabel & Blogspot "era". That sounds pretty wicked, right? Well, it is. But don't mind that, for we have an entirely better and rather more interesting surprise for you guys. Oh, don’t worry. We will tell you all about our "good bye" within the third surprise we have planned for you, but before that (again), let’s go back to the true meaning of this post.

Our Venezuelan "panitas", Jóvenes y Sexys, are back. Were they ever gone? Not really, well, in a way, yeah. But don't get shaky, here's the update: After their "Bruno EP" release, Cheky & Loo came to Mexico, met a bunch of talented people, and somehow, they did not only end up appearing in two soundtracks (for the Mexican films "Rudo y cursi" and "Voy a explotar"), in case you were wondering, JYS just got back home from playing a few gigs in Brazil a few days ago.

Remember their last release? Well, María y José (Tijuana), pepepe (Guadalajara) and Nuuro (New York) certainly do. Don’t worry if you don’t. We’re done with the words, anyway. All you have to know from now on is that, because of artists like Jóvenes y Sexys, we have decided to take Poni Republic to a whole other level. But please, remain tuned. Don't drop out!

Anyways, starting from this release...

Well, kind of...

Argh.

OK, OK. We hate surprises; so let’s just say we sort of have another Venezuelan release ready for you to enclose our official "farewell", but before that, please, go ahead and enjoy these fine tunes (and artwork)…
